Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic XR and CT exams with attention to patient safety and image clarity
• Position patients accurately and use proper protocols to ensure diagnostic-quality imaging
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment (including Canon CT when available) while maintaining radiation safety standards
• Administer contrast agents per protocol and monitor patients for reactions when required
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation in PACS/EHR and communicate findings to the care team
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic QC checks to support uninterrupted service
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to deliver seamless patient care
• Provide compassionate patient education and reassurance throughout the imaging process

Qualifications

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• AART XR registry (required)
• AART CT registry (required)
• Experience with Canon CT is preferred
• Ability to work the Monday-Thursday night schedule (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic and CT imaging protocols
• Radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Proficiency with PACS, DICOM workflows, and image post-processing
• Patient positioning and immobilization techniques for diagnostic quality
• Effective communication and patient care skills for diverse populations
• Basic equipment quality control and troubleshooting
