Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional needs and design individualized occupational therapy plans
Deliver hands-on treatment and therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
Document progress and update treatment plans clearly and professionally
Educate patients and families on strategies to maximize independence and safety
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth start

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (California licensure required)
NBCOT certification preferred where applicable
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach
Previous clinical experience preferred but new graduates may be considered

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy (BS/BA in OT, MS, or OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and treatment planning
Skilled in therapeutic techniques for activities of daily living (ADLs)
Strong clinical documentation and charting abilities
Ability to collaborate with nurses, PTs, physicians, and support staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize caseload effectively
