Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with daily living activities
Help with bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and safe transfers
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with feeding and hydration while promoting dignity and independence
Maintain accurate documentation of care and follow care plans closely
Follow infection control practices and facility safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain quickly
Ability to pass required background checks and immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Reliable attendance and the ability to work an 8-hour shift
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and resident assistance
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and hand hygiene best practices
Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
