Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth transitions
Document patient status and interventions accurately in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate when needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Hampshire license or compact licensure preferred
Med/Surg clinical experience preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced unit

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
Proficiency in patient assessment, wound care, and medication administration
Experience with IV therapy and common inpatient procedures
Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care accurately
Excellent time management, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
