Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit, creating a welcoming clinic experience
Obtain and record vital signs and relevant medical history accurately
Assist providers with exams and minor procedures, keeping patient comfort and safety first
Collect and label specimens according to protocol and ensure timely processing
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record with attention to detail
Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with team members to keep the clinic running smoothly
Support infection control and clinic safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered/Maintained MA credential preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable taking vitals, performing point-of-care testing, and assisting with basic procedures
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and patient intake procedures
Proficient with electronic health records and basic computer skills
Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA privacy principles
Excellent time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
