Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor residents’ condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment to promote independence
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification — required
Current basic life support (BLS) or willingness to obtain if required
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Reliable attendance and the ability to work an 8-hour clinical shift

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Infection control best practices
Accurate documentation and charting
Teamwork, empathy, and clear communication with residents and staff
