Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
• Perform assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility policies and regulations

Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license (able to practice as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and participating in rotating weekend coverage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a collaborative care team
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus

Education

• LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures
• Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity and accurate charting
• Time management, prioritization, and team collaboration skills
