Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Coordinate daily clinical operations and staffing to meet unit needs
Provide direct patient care as needed, demonstrating strong clinical judgment
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility policies
Facilitate effective communication between interdisciplinary team members
Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote patient safety standards

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in California (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certs preferred
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to complete orientation and requisite facility onboarding

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical nursing assessment and medication administration
Leadership, staff coordination and conflict resolution
Patient safety and quality improvement practices
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation familiarity
Strong prioritization, delegation and time-management skills
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
