Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the nursing team
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges during your shift
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support patient care plans
Maintain clear, timely charting and handoff communication to the next shift
Support a calm, safe overnight environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (eligible to practice in Georgia preferred)
Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar clinical settings is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on overnight shifts
Proof of immunizations and background checks as required by facility

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Ability to prioritize patient care and manage time effectively on a busy shift
Strong observational skills and ability to recognize changes in patient condition
Team-oriented mindset with reliable clinical judgment
