Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered Med/Surg nursing care to adults and older adults
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status — vital signs, meds, labs and clinical changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
• Prioritize tasks and triage effectively during busy shifts to ensure safe outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in New Hampshire OR a valid compact RN license accepted by the facility
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred; comfort working 12+ hour shifts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and specialty certifications are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to safely administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid Med/Surg assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Proficiency with IV therapy, medication administration and wound care basics
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems for charting and orders
• Ability to prioritize patients and tasks under pressure
• Patient/family education and bedside teaching skills
• Collaborative teamwork and effective communication with multidisciplinary staff
