Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments and discharge planning
Document care clearly in the medical record and support quality initiatives

Qualifications

Current, active RN license or eligibility to practice in New Hampshire
Clinical Med/Surg experience (experience in acute care settings is a plus)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong assessment, communication and teamwork skills
Comfort using electronic medical records and following unit protocols

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of Med/Surg nursing practices and standards
Patient assessment and critical thinking in acute care scenarios
Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
Effective communication with patients, families and clinical teams
Time management, prioritization and safe documentation practices
