Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate patient care following facility policies and best practices
Assess and monitor patient status, document findings, and communicate changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments accurately, following the five rights
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
Act as an advocate for patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement
Participate in unit huddles, shift handoffs, and other communication touchpoints

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Current clinical skills appropriate to acute care settings
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
Ability to pass facility clinical onboarding and compliance requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity and good charting practices
Patient education and discharge planning
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in fast-paced environments
