Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing for adult ICU patients, delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Continuously assess patient status and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, manage ventilators and complex infusions with precision
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and multidisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
Document care clearly and promptly to maintain continuity and safety
Mentor and support colleagues and contribute to a positive, learning-focused unit culture

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii or eligibility to obtain one
Experience in an adult ICU or critical care setting preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) strongly preferred
Comfort with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring and critical care titrations
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and intervention skills
Familiarity with ICU equipment including ventilators and infusion pumps
Ability to prioritize in high-acuity situations and remain calm under pressure
Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
Electronic medical record proficiency and accurate documentation habits
