Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, including assessment and management of complex cardiac, neuro, and respiratory conditions
• Manage ventilators and perform ventilator weaning and troubleshooting
• Administer and titrate critical care drips and vasopressors safely and accurately
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures such as intubation, proning, cardioversion, IABP care, and CRRT
• Follow strict infection control practices including PPE donning and doffing for COVID-19 patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech (EBCD) and participate in bedside hand-off reporting
• Engage in hourly rounding, use AIDET communication, and contribute to a compassionate patient experience
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and float to other units as needed with professionalism and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (required)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (explicitly listed)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; TNCC is a plus
• Proven ability to care for COVID-19 ICU patients and follow PPE protocols
• Strong critical care assessment skills and experience with ventilators, CRRT, and IABP
• Excellent communication, teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Education

• Active RN license (required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and respiratory care
• Critical care drip and vasopressor titration
• Cardiac, neuro, and respiratory system assessment and management
• CRRT operation and IABP familiarity
• Proficiency with Meditech (EBCD) clinical documentation
• Use of Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, and bedside monitoring equipment
• PPE donning and doffing expertise and infection control practices
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
