Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing care across units, ensuring safe patient flow and high-quality care
• Lead bed management and facility diversion activities to optimize admissions and transfers
• Manage codes and rapid response efforts, coordinating teams under pressure
• Oversee charting and documentation in Epic to maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners (RT, PT, pharmacy, radiology, etc.) to ensure seamless care
• Coach and mentor staff, providing guidance on infection control, isolation procedures and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate new admissions, post-op/post-procedure care and transfers to higher levels of care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Minimum ~1 year clinical nursing experience (as listed)
• Charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (DPH, TJC, OSHA) and workplace safety practices

• Inpatient acute care and emergency care expertise
• House supervision and supervising nursing care across units
• Code management and crisis intervention/management
• Bed management, facility/bed diversion and patient flow coordination
• Rapid response team leadership
• Infection control and isolation procedure competency
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
