Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition with compassion and clinical precision
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the rehab team
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and independence
• Document care thoroughly and communicate changes to the care team
• Coordinate with therapists and other providers to ensure seamless rehabilitation
• Advocate for patients’ needs and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in New Mexico or eligible for licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or related nursing settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and integrate quickly with teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing skills including assessments, medication administration, and wound care
• Familiarity with rehabilitation principles and interdisciplinary care
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Team collaboration and a patient-centered approach to care
