Bill Rate: $55.51-$79.14/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and needs through thorough assessments and clinical judgment
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and improve quality of life
Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in the EMR accurately and timely
Manage a diverse caseload independently while prioritizing patient safety and outcomes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize rehabilitation plans
Provide patient- and family-centered education to support discharge planning and home safety
Apply evidence-based interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
Proficiency with EMR documentation and basic computer skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Compliance with California OT regulatory requirements and commitment to continuous learning

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and functional evaluation
Treatment planning and individualized intervention
EMR documentation best practices
Caseload management across inpatient and outpatient settings
Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation environments
Clinical decision-making and analytical thinking
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
13-step clinical pay scale with progression up to 30 years' experience
