Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis and care.
Position and prepare patients with compassion and clear communication to ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Operate radiologic equipment and imaging systems while following radiation safety protocols and facility policies.
Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and input findings using basic computer systems.
Collaborate with clinical team members to deliver high-quality patient care and escalate concerns appropriately.
Maintain equipment cleanliness, report malfunctions, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology (required).
Illinois Radiologic Technologist license (required).
CRP Certification (listed as required in the posting).
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping competency.
Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and basic math ability to support patient care tasks.

Education

Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in performing X-ray and CT imaging procedures.
Familiarity with radiological technology best practices and patient positioning techniques.
Able to apply common sense and follow one- or two-step instructions accurately.
Comfortable using basic computer systems to enter patient data and procedure notes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and clinical teams.
