Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care following established standards and best practices to support optimal patient outcomes
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and carry out examination and treatment procedures accurately and compassionately
• Assist providers with procedures and collaborate in care coordination across the healthcare team
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment, and self-care to empower better health decisions
• Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations and participate in the clinic's emergency response protocols
• Document care clearly and maintain accurate records using appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding principles
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and clinic policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license (required)
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to travel to other clinic offices as needed
• Comfort with lifting and patient handling (occasional lifting up to ~50 lbs)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow provider directions and written instructions

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Medication administration and monitoring
• Patient assessment and triage skills
• Care coordination and patient education techniques
• Medical terminology and office procedures
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
• Examination and treatment procedures and use of clinic equipment
• Safety, infection control, and emergency response
