Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Support safe and clean patient environments by following infection control protocols
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident’s needs and preferences are honored

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and valid CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Familiarity with charting and care documentation
Ability to follow care plans and physician/nurse directions
Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and families
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
