Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and med/surg patients, prioritizing clinical excellence and comfort
• Perform timely assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate findings to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility policies and best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans
• Document patient care clearly and promptly in the electronic health record
• Support families with education and empathetic communication during hospital stays
• Participate in orientation and training to maintain competency and support unit standards

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts license or compact/eligible preferred)
• Experience or comfort in Medical-Surgical nursing with pediatric patient exposure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Ability to complete orientation and comply with facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
