Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
- Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
- Support a positive, respectful atmosphere that promotes dignity and comfort
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
- Active or transferable CNA credentials for Pennsylvania as required
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care tasks
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and observation skills
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Understanding of infection prevention and safety practices
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
- Time management to support multiple residents during a shift
