Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in the emergency setting
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages
• Initiate and manage emergency interventions and treatments as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the care team to coordinate fast, safe care
• Monitor patient status, interpret findings, and escalate concerns immediately
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the EMR
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up plans

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license - ability to practice in New Hampshire (or eligibility) preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred for ED roles
• Prior Emergency Department experience preferred; new grads with strong critical care training welcome to apply
• Strong clinical assessment, IV/medication administration, and triage skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to perform under pressure

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing and rapid assessment skills
• Triage and prioritization in a fast-paced ED environment
• IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency interventions
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
• Strong situational awareness, critical thinking, and teamwork
