Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and perform routine nursing assessments
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate effective care
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with policies
Support smooth unit operations through thorough handoffs and medication reconciliation

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Education

LPN diploma or graduation from an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Experience with electronic health record systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Infection control and patient safety best practices
