Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days vary based on unit needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on daily care to residents
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitor and document resident condition and report changes promptly
Collaborate with the nursing team to follow and implement care plans
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Support resident dignity and comfort through respectful communication and care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or completion of an accredited CNA program and eligibility to be certified)
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain after hire
Comfortable with the physical demands of patient care and safe lifting practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Infection control and safety procedures
Compassionate communication with residents and families
