Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), Days vary, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM Night (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
Communicate effectively with the care team and patients' families to support quality care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Ability to work overnight 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM shifts on a per diem basis
Comfortable with direct patient care and safe lifting/transfer techniques
Reliable, professional, and able to pass required background and health screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

Completion of an approved CNA training program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and basic nursing assistance
Taking and documenting vital signs
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Strong communication and teamwork
Time management and attention to detail during shift transitions
