Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including personal hygiene and mobility assistance
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in residents condition accurately
• Assist nursing staff with treatments and follow care plans consistently
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and team members to ensure coordinated care
• Contribute to a clean, comfortable and safe environment for all residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active/state-appropriate credentials or willingness to obtain them for New Mexico
• Comfortable working a night shift schedule and flexible per diem availability
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with personal care, bathing and toileting assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Reliable charting and attention to detail
• Teamwork, time management and a positive attitude under pressure
