Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support their daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility with dignity and respect
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Accurately document care provided and observations in resident records
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies every shift
• Offer emotional support and engage residents to enhance their quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid CNA credential in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain state certification
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Understanding of basic infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to observe, report, and document changes in resident condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
