Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care that promotes dignity and comfort
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document patient status and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe patient transfers and proper use of assistive equipment
Collaborate with the care team to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain one
Prior experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain it
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Dependable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; successful completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care and personal care skills
Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
Infection prevention and safe handling practices
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical observations
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to support diverse patients
