Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, supporting daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while promoting patient dignity
Take and record vital signs and share timely updates with the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and positioning to minimize risk of injury
Document care accurately and communicate observations to nurses and supervisors
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Build positive relationships with patients and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state-eligible CNA credential
Valid BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including patient transfers
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and patient observation
Safe patient handling and mobility support
Infection prevention and control practices
Clear, professional documentation and communication
