Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a trusted CNA
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention measures to protect residents
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident chart
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, respectful environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Comfortable working night shifts and supporting an evening care team
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Dependable, patient-centered approach with focus on resident dignity
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and resident care
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to take accurate vitals and observe changes in condition
• Comfortable with charting and basic electronic documentation
• Teamwork, time management, and empathy-driven bedside manner
