Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers, mobility, and fall-prevention measures
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Document care in the patient record clearly and timely to support continuity
Communicate kindly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Background check and immunizations up to facility policy
Comfortable assisting with transfers, ADLs, and basic clinical tasks
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
Preferred: prior experience in long-term care or similar setting

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of basic patient care and infection control
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Good communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with documentation best practices and electronic charting
Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
