Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to patients, helping with daily living activities
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (active or eligible for state registry)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with direct patient care and physical tasks; ability to follow facility policies
Background check and immunizations per facility requirements
Reliable attendance and teamwork-oriented mindset
Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance
Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
Basic charting and following care plans
Infection prevention practices and PPE use
