Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report concerns to nursing staff
Support mobility, transfer, and positioning safely using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Document patient interactions and care activities timely and clearly
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Dependable attendance and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and basic safety precautions
Patient transfer and safe lifting practices
Good charting skills and familiarity with electronic or paper documentation
Teamwork, time management, and clear verbal communication
