Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with patient mobility, transfers and positioning to promote safety and comfort
Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control practices
Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
Communicate effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification active in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic documentation skills and comfort with electronic charting
