Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with compassion and attention to detail
- Administer medications and treatments as directed and document accordingly
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with RNs and the care team to deliver coordinated care
- Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active and in good standing
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Prior clinical experience preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Infection control and safe patient handling
- Electronic charting and record keeping
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
