Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Monitor residents and report changes in condition promptly to the nursing team
Assist with meals and feeding, ensuring dignity and comfort during care
Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered and observations
Practice infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Help create a warm, home-like environment and support resident engagement

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and safe patient handling
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to work assigned shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Charting and accurate documentation practices
Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
Observation skills for recognizing changes in resident condition
