Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to licensed staff
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Document care activities clearly and timely in patient records
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families
• Support a positive patient experience by responding to needs with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain state certification
• Current, verifiable certifications and credentials required by facility
• Comfortable performing patient care tasks and following care plans
• Ability to pass required background checks and facility screening processes
• Reliable, team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care, ADLs, and hygiene assistance
• Ability to take and document vital signs and observe patient condition
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic documentation and charting proficiency
