Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; exact days and start/end times vary by schedule and will be provided when you pick up shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, helping with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with routine tasks and follow care plans accurately
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection-control practices
Document care activities clearly and timely to keep the care team informed
Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (must be eligible to work in Pennsylvania)
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Dependable, compassionate, and able to follow care plans and directions
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus but not always required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
Good communication and teamwork — you keep the care team informed
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Reliable documentation and time-management skills
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude under pressure
