Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control procedures
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (state of Pennsylvania) in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtain upon hire if required
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to work scheduled shifts
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in assisting with ADLs and personal care
Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices
Ability to accurately take and document vital signs
Strong observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Team player with good verbal and written communication
Respectful approach to resident privacy and dignity
