Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of medical equipment
Maintain accurate documentation of basic patient care and observations
Practice infection control and follow facility safety protocols at all times
Work collaboratively with the care team to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant); Pennsylvania certification preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state registry as applicable
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Infection control procedures and PPE use
Effective teamwork and clear communication with nursing staff
Basic documentation and charting skills
