Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; schedule varies and is assigned as needed (start/end times and days vary based on facility needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
Monitor and document patient condition and report changes to clinical staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
Follow infection control policies and facility procedures to ensure safety

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Active basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and personal care
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass standard background and health screenings required by the facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assistant skills and patient care techniques
Basic charting and documentation practices
Understanding of infection control and patient safety principles
Teamwork and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
