Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
• Perform routine vital signs monitoring and report changes in condition promptly
• Support safe transfer and mobility practices to prevent falls and injuries
• Document care accurately and communicate observations to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote resident well-being

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Comfortable working in long-term care environments and assisting with hands-on care
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate well with residents and team members

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Good documentation and basic charting abilities
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Understanding of infection control and safe handling techniques
