Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Support mealtime assistance and ensure a safe, comfortable dining experience
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid CNA registry in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state registration
Comfortable performing hands-on patient care and following care plans
Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Basic CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and ADLs
Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation practices
Infection control procedures and safe handling techniques
Ability to follow care plans and report observations clearly
Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with nurses and support staff
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
