Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — help with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support, using proper body mechanics
Measure and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
Document care provided in patient records clearly and promptly
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to support positive outcomes
Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident’s comfort, dignity, and individualized care plan

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background check/drug screen
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Education

High school diploma or GED
Active CNA certification/license in Pennsylvania

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Infection prevention practices and PPE use
Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Clear verbal and written communication
Basic charting and documentation skills
