Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility and toileting safely
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate resident documentation and care notes
Support a clean and safe environment following infection control practices
Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or completion of an approved CNA program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable working in a long-term/post-acute care environment; team player attitude
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic resident care and ADLs
Ability to take and accurately report vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Good documentation and time-management skills
Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
Awareness of resident rights, dignity, and privacy principles
