Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with daily living activities and encourage resident independence while ensuring safety
Maintain clean, safe and comfortable environments for residents
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams
Document care activities promptly and accurately in facility records
Support emergency procedures and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active/state-appropriate nursing assistant registry entry for Pennsylvania
Compliance with facility onboarding requirements (background check and immunizations)
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward patients
Ability to pass required screenings (TB test, drug screen) as part of onboarding

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care techniques and activities of daily living
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic documentation skills and comfort with electronic or paper charting
