Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
- Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Active ability to work in Pennsylvania (authorization to work in the U.S.)
- Recent clinical experience or successful completion of a CNA program
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work 8-hour shifts
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed Certified Nursing Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong basic nursing skills including bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic charting and documentation proficiency
