Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Support mobility and rehab activities in partnership with nursing and therapy staff
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patient condition accurately and promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control policies
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, transfers, and positioning while preserving dignity
• Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team and contribute to patient care plans

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Authorization to work in New Mexico and local to Albuquerque (LOCAL ONLY)
• Available to start ASAP; assignment begins 2026-01-12 and runs through 2026-03-21
• Previous experience in rehab or long-term care is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed and active CNA training / certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and mobility support
• Basic clinical observation and documentation skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a busy shift
• Team-oriented mindset and clear communication with patients and coworkers
