Shift Type: Varying days (Sunday to Saturday), 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM Day shift; 10-hour shifts with call rotation (day) and floating between sites
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound exams, including upper and lower extremity DVT studies and carotid ultrasound, with accuracy and care
- Provide compassionate patient preparation and positioning to ensure high-quality imaging and patient comfort
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring image quality and adherence to protocols
- Document and communicate findings clearly in the imaging system and collaborate with interpreting physicians
- Participate in call rotation and respond professionally when summoned, supporting patient care across sites
- Float between hospital and imaging center locations as needed to meet patient and department needs
Qualifications
- ARDMS credential required, including Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Demonstrated vascular ultrasound knowledge and skill
- Ability to perform upper and lower extremity DVT studies and carotid ultrasound
- Comfortable with on-call/call rotation responsibilities and weekend or varied-day availability
- Experience working in hospital and imaging center environments and willingness to float between sites
Knowledge & Skills
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography and vascular ultrasound techniques
- Upper and lower extremity DVT study protocols
- Carotid duplex imaging and interpretation fundamentals
- Patient positioning, safety, and compassionate bedside manner
- Operating ultrasound equipment and troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Clear documentation and effective communication with clinical teams
